What is DTF?
Direct-to-film (DTF) printing puts your design onto a special transfer film in full colour with a white underbase, then coats it with a hot-melt adhesive powder. You press the finished transfer onto the garment with a heat press.
Unlike vinyl there is nothing to weed or cut, and unlike screen printing there are no colour limits and no setup. Light or dark garments, cotton or polyester, one shirt or a thousand.

Pressing DTF transfers has never been easier
No weeding, no cutting, no special software. Just a heat press, a Cricut or an iron.
Pre-press
Press the garment for 5 seconds to remove moisture and wrinkles.
Position & press
Place the transfer face-up and press at roughly 150°C / 300°F for 10–15 seconds with medium pressure.
Peel
Peel the film cleanly (hot or cold, as marked on your sheet).
Finish
Cover with parchment and press again for 5–10 seconds for a soft, matte finish.
Exact temperature, time and peel type for your film are printed on the instruction sheet that ships with every order.
